Photo Eggs

Decorate eggs with your own photographs! They are perfect for displaying, filling an Easter basket or even hiding for an egg hunt.

What You'll Need:

blown eggs
favorite photos
scissors
non-photo paper
decoupage glue
paint brush

time to complete

How to Make it:

Print your picture onto regular copier paper (not photo paper).

Draw an oval about the size of the egg onto the picture.

Cut the oval out and snip 1/2 inch slices around the edge about 1/4 of an inch apart.

Use the paint brush to apply a coat of decoupage glue onto the front of the egg.

Place your picture oval onto the egg and start pressing the edge flaps to the egg working in a clockwise direction. When the picture is smoothly adhered to the egg, brush a coat of the decoupage glue over the picture.

TIP: Once the picture is soaked with glue do not rub it too much or the color will rub off.

Allow the glue to dry and your photo egg is ready for display!

Variation: Try cutting your subject out of the picture instead of an oval and glue that to the egg. You can further decorate the egg with paint, glitter or other embellishments.
